Engraving Letters for your loved ones

Today, I'm going to write an article about engraving.

Engraving is often the inside of a ring

It's a letter or a symbol that's typed into

a standard initial stamp between couples, family members, and close friends,

「I ♡ YOU」「25.10.08」etc

You can see a lot of things like stamping messages like that

Engraving includes traditional handmade engravings and laser engraving.

In recent years, when 3D CAD is used to shape, it is the same as stamping on data

You can put letters in advance and make them... or something like that

As time goes by, itoaware is engraved by hand

The engraving made with laser engraving and CAD data is very important

There is a wide range of fonts (character types) to be used, and the depth and arrangement of characters are even

You can quickly put a clean stamp where you want it.

It sounds convenient and time-consuming and very attractive

On the other hand, Itoaware craftsmans will stamp each letter by hand

The tools used to strike vary depending on the taste of the craftsman, such as wooden hammer and hammer of various weights

From the stand where the ring is fixed when stamping, to the one made by the craftsman himself

And since you type one letter at a time, you can make sure that the letters line up in the same width as the top, bottom, left, and right,

type with the same force so that all letters enter at the same depth

Moreover, if you fail and brush it again, the ring will grow in size

Then  why are we so particular about hand-made engraving?

It's the warmth of the handmade

I'm sure many of you think that even if it looks the same at first glance

There's something that comes out of the craftsman's heart when you hit it with your hands　😊

The stamp sold at itoaware Kyoto store is,

・"京都" is a kanji limited to Kyoto stores (over the thickness of 2.5mm)

You can choose from among them.

The price system is 1100 yen (+tax) for every 5 characters,

·1-5 characters → 1100 yen (+tax)

·6-10 characters → 2200 yen (+tax) ...
